How to Assign your Extension to your Mitel Telephone

This article outlines the steps to assign your extension to your Mitel telephone.

Instructions:

1. Press the ‘Voicemail’ button on your phone 
2. Enter your extension number
3. Enter your password and press the pound key (#)
4. As soon as the auto-attendant starts speaking, enter: 7 3 1 
5. The system will say: “your extension has been assigned to your telephone.” 
6. Hang up and wait for 1 minute. 
7. If successful, you will see your display name on the phone.
