Installing Mitel application on Windows

This article explains ho to install Mitel application on Windows

INSTRUCTIONS:

To install the Mitel application, you'll need the installer file located here: MITEL INSTALLER. 

Here are the steps to install: 

1) Download the installer file. 

2) Right click on the installer file, and select OPEN.

NOTE: If you don't have admin privileges on the system, you'll have to instead click on RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR and input the admin credentials before you proceed to the next step. 

The installer may require you to install pre-requisite packages(which will happen automtically) before it  installs the application. Also, please note that OUTLOOK application specifically needs to be closed before you initiate the install. 

3) When the installer window opens to install the app, simply hit NEXT a few times and the install will be complete. 

4) After the installer installs Mitel, please make sure you use your On Prem active directory username(if you have one). Otherwise, simply use your email and password provided for Mitel to sign into the Mitel application like in screenshot below: 

When connecting to Mitel for the first time, you'll be required to enter the server address for the mitel connection. Please paste this link in the server field from the previous screenshot: ucc-client.united-church.ca. 

5) Then simply hit LOGIN to complete the login process. If you are unable to sign in, simply check in with Helpdesk@united-church.ca and we'll help you update your credentials for a successful sign in.
