ARTICLE SUMMARY
This article will cover how to solve the problem when non-onboarded staff contacts face the following error when accessing the Portal for the first time:
Causes:
- The person already has a Contact (not to confuse with user) in Dynamics CRM with the same email address
- The person is not onboarded in ChurchHub
This article should only be followed if there's no plan to Onboard the contact to ChurchHub. This should NOT be applied to non-staff.
Instructions to send an invitation do Portal
Step 1: Access the Admin Hub app in the CRM
Step 2: Search for the Contact and toggle to the Portal Contact form
Step 3: Make sure there's no data under the Web Authentication tab
Step 4: Create the invitation and save it
Step 4: Send the invitation
The user will receive an invitation that will authorize their contact to access the portal.
