This article is a reminder on how to handle any Phishing or suspicious emails you may receive in your Inbox in your Outlook Desktop or Outlook Web app.
It’s recommended you DO NOT delete the suspicious email and use the Phish Alert Report button in Outlook to report any suspicious emails.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Highlight (select) the suspicious email (if you use the preview window in Outlook), otherwise, open the suspicious email, select the Phish Alert Report button on your Outlook ribbon (shown below).

2. The Phish Alert Report button will open displaying three options (shown below). Select Phish/Suspicious if the email is a threat. Select Spam if the email is spam and not a threat. Select Unknown if you are unsure.
3. Once you select an option, select the Phish Alert button. The suspicious email will be deleted from your Inbox and forwarded with all the necessary information to our IT team for analysis.
