SharePoint - Error opening PDFs

PROBLEM:

When trying to open a pdf file on a unit's SharePoint site, the person is getting error message:

Error Message: There's some problem while processing your files.  If you continue to encounter this error, please consider contacting support  .....

See attached file for specific error .

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

 There are some issues with PDFs in our SharePoint site, and IT Help Desk is working with Adobe support to resolve them.

WORKAROUND:

Right now the workaround to this is to click the check mark next to the pdf file you want to open go to the OPEN menu click the drop down and choose OPEN IN BROWSER. Hopefully this won't give you errors. Right now ALL the pdf's are opening in Adobe Document Cloud.
