Summary: Steps to take in order to transfer an MS Form from a persons account to a security group. This will allow the form to survive even if the users account is disabled and is the best practice for any form that is used by anyone other than the creator.
Step 1: The current owner or creator of the form must be the one to preform this step. If they go the their Forms landing page. They will see something similar to the screenshot below. Click on MY FORMS.
Step 2: Find the form you want to change over to a group and look for the three dots ... Click the three dots then on the MOVE TO GROUP option
Step 3: Choose a group to use. This has to be an Office 365 group. As an example I use the Forms and Lists group which is a group and SharePoint site dedicated to housing forms and lists.
