This article outlines the steps to use room finder in Outlook.
When you need to book a room, there is a quick short cut for determining which rooms are available. Follow the quick steps below:
- On the Menu Bar, click on “New Items” and select “Meeting” from the drop down list.
- The meeting request screen will appear.
- Select the date and time you want to book a room for.
- Go to Room Finder and select "GCO Room List" from the "Show a room list" drop down. If the Room Finder is not showing on the right side, click the "Room Finder" button on the ribbon above.
- The list that appears in "Choose an Available Room" are those available at the time requested.
- Highlight a room within the list; it will appear in the "To" box.
- Continue to invite others to the meeting and send as usual by adding them to the "To" box.
