This article outlines how you can create your own accounts in Dynamics 365 (D365). Here, you can find the problem description, the solution, and the license requirements.
Problem:
Sometimes we need to create records in Dynamics 365 (D365) about companies with whom we do business. In that case, you could create an Account.
Solution:
Every Account has an Account Type:
- Congregation
- Pastoral Charge
- Regional Council
- General Council
- Other
- Unaffiliated Organization
The first 5 Account Types are created by the Statistics team at General Council Office ( GCO).
However, other people, such as Regional Council Admins, Refugee team, or others, can create Unaffiliated Organizations.
When you create an Account , it will default to Account Type = Unaffiliated Organization.
License Requirement:
To create an Account you must have a D365 license that allows you to create Accounts. If you have any questions about whether you have the correct license, please contact us.
