To sync a library to your local computer simply go to the SharePoint site, then the library that stores the files. Once there click on the SYNC button

A message will pop up saying the site is trying to open OneDrive. Click on OPEN to allow the OneDrive sync tool to start syncing the files to your computer
Depending on how fast it goes you should see your blue OneDrive icon turn from solid blue to having 2 arrows pointing at each other to indicate OneDrive is in the process of syncing. Once the icon goes back to normal go to Windows explorer and look for the icon in the screen cap below, you might have to expand it. You should see the name of the site and the library listed here. You will now be able to work on the files and they will be synced back to the SharePoint library.
